1. Im trying to get the fujy Hyper Utility Software and cant find it anywhere to download. Can anybody help me out. I would apreciate it.

Yesterday night I got my hands on a copy of Fujifilm's Hyper-Utility for the first time. I knew well from reading here that this software has 'issues' but since it is claimed to have some of the best ability to get good IQ out of an S5, I wanted to try it. It helped that I found a brand new copy for $50 instead of the much higher price that Fujifilm charges. I slipped the CD into my Macbook Pro and found that installation was going to take a very long time. Over 5,000 files needed to be installed and they were added quite slowly. So I grabbed a book and read a few chapters while the installation went forward. Once completed, I fired up the program and was just floored.

Poking around the 'interface' was interesting to say the least. What a jumbled mess of an interface!!

Many of the functions, such as the cropping tool and the S5 Pro tool (whatever that is), fail to work, giving an immediate error message that is cryptic and not helpful in solving whatever problem is present. I have some experience with Fujifilm FinePix Studio so was able to eventually get some images open and ready for manipulation. Aside from the film simulation modes, it is hard to see how Hyper-Utility is any better than FinePix Studio for simple RAW file adjustments. I like the film simulation modes so it is a shame that FinePix Studio does not allow them to be included in the image adjustments. Hyper-Utility.what a great name to a train wreck of a program.

I found that page too but all the downloads available there are just updaters, that means i must have the program installed (Fuji Hyper Utility Software) and then i can install whats there on that page. I tried all of them and doesnt work.Here are thensteps: 1. Install the Hyper-Utility Software HS-V2 from your belonging CD-ROM into your computer if it is not installed.

Quit Hyper-Utility Software HS-V2 if it is started. Double-click the updater file 'V2XE31I.DMG' to mount a DMG file. After mounting the 'V2XE31I.DMG' file, you will find 'V2XE31I' file in the 'V2XE31I' volume. Execute this updater software 'V2XE31I' to update the above installed software. I need step 1 which i dont have.
