Igo8 For Windows Mobile
Ok will try again, i might have another option. I tried my friends sd card out of his chinese GPS and it works in my eonon gps, it is an older version of igo8. I have tried to copy from his sd card to a freshly formated one, it will let me copy and paste (there are only 4 files ) 3 of the files but not the IGO8 file. When i go to access it, it says file is empty but when you put it in the gps and set the path way i can open the IGO8 file and see all the requied files like the IGO8 exe file. How do i copy or access this file so i can transfer to my SD card. I really appreciate the help! I have an All in one DVD/GPS unit in my van (I'm not even sure of the make and model, but I think it's from China). I was wondering if the maps are up to date and if not is there a way to update them (for free, if possible)? The Info I know about the unit: It's saved on a 4GB Micro SD card in a slot on the front of the unit System: NAV N GO iGO 8 (8.3.4.102680 AUG 13, 2009) Map: Australia R19.

I've looked through threads and tried to get my head around it all, but I'm not sure of a few things. If you wouldn't mind helping, I would really appreciate it. The current map my gps has is Australia R19, I found this link on one of the pages I read that has Australia R20. (Link to post below).

Is R20 the update to R19, or is it a different system? For example, can I update R19 to R20, or do I have to update R19 to say something that would be like an R19.2 for example?
