I have installed Windows 7 Home Preimum 64 bit. It has an add-on card, said 'MosChip PCI Multi-IO Controller' in Device Manager, with a parrallel port on it. It is connected to my trusty old HP Laserjet 1100 printer. Interestingly enough, the printer is NOT visisble in the Windows 7's 'Printers and Faxes', but is visible from any program's File-Print (even IE)! What's annoying is because the printer is not visible in Printers and Faxes, I don't know how to share it using the old network share method (not Homegroup as not all my home computers are Win7). Why is the printer not showing up?
What am I missing please? If you have any ideas or thoughts on this, would really appreciate your help please.
