Ok, to burn a bootable DVD or CD-+R from an ISO file with burnaware, don’t use the Boot Disc function from the 3 choices of the data section. Instead, go to disc images, and then choose burn ISO. In options i set the lowest writing speed, and varify files after writing. This i do for staying as save as possible for them files being written nicely.
I write this here because i, i guess like many others, thought. Yes i want to create a disc from an ISO file, but will it be bootable also then? Thats why i tryed the Boot CD function first. There in options, you can select the ISO file, PLUS an additional.img or.ima file, and that’s so confusing if you don’t know about all that stuff, And there is a DosBootimage.IMA file chosen at the beginning. I clicked ADD, chose my ISO, then left this imagefile as it is, and started the writing process. Guess what, when trying restart booting with this cd. It started booting Caldera DRDOS, and something like OAK corporation crap.
I researched the problem, and someone said, that happens if there is something done wrongly while creating the ISO file, that there would be the wrong img fileg or setup file in there. So that is not the case. Further, if you have for example a Dell precision 690 workstation, you have to press f6 at the beginning of the boot process, and install ”3rd party” drivers for your hard discs from a USB drive, or a floppy disk, additionally to this provided ISO here. It doesn’t have them onboard. Here you find them. It are the SAS Raid drivers.
Type in your service tag, wich should be on a sticker glued onto your workstation housing. Then pick your Raid drivers. Alltogether it are 4 files. When i typed in my tag, it were 2, so there is possibly something wrongly doable here again, if you don’t have a service tag. One last thing. This ISO here is 560mb big. It doesn’t have to be a DVD blank wasted on this one.
You can make a normal CD-R bootable OS disc, that has 680mb or 700 mb. Would be nice, if this helped someone to not freak out;-). Dear Provider, Kindly I ask your attention.
I have XP Pro x32 OEM, but the system I have now is x64 based. I have 7 x64 Ultimate and 10 x64 Pro installed on SSD, both Retail. I want to install it all UEFI and there for I need a x64 bases OS.
I allready installed them not UEFI. I won’t reinstall them, but change them to UEFI, mulit boot. To do so, I need to install first XP on a HDD or a new SSD, then 7 and last 10. I have check the net for a lot information about it. But I would like it, if I could download the Windows XP Professional x64 Edition SP3 en-us Retail, with product key. Why installing Windows XP Professional x64 Edition SP3? There are somethings I can do better with Windows XP Professional x64 Edition SP3, not to use it online, because of security updates are not longer availble.
Could you be so kind and make it happen? I would be very much happy if you could. Many thanks in advance for all your efforts and time to make it happen!:) Best Regards, PS: Have a happy hobby-/work-week & weekend!:). Dear Provider, Kindly I ask your attention.
I already have Windows XP Pro x32 SP1 Retail. I have already installed on SSD’s Windows 7 Ultimate x64 and Windows 10 x64 Pro, both Retail. To install Windows XP Pro x64 SP3 is needed, because the system will be UEFI. The other Windows version aren’t UEFI installed, but will be transfered to UEFI without data lost and the boot loader will be installed, so that all Windows version will be accessible from there. And the 3TB HDD will be transfered to GPT without data lost.
The Windows XP Pro x64 SP3 will be installed an a HDD or a new SSD Pro. To do these actions, I need to look on the net. My question to you is: Could you be so kind and let it happen, to download the Windows XP Pro x64 SP Retail with license key? I would be very much happy when you could, would & will!:) Many thanks in advance for all your efforts and time to let it happen!:) Best Regards, PS: Have a happy hobby-/work-week & weekend!:).
